Clear answers about mold remediation
Do you offer free mold inspections?
We offer an initial telephone consultation at no charge. On-site assessments may require a fee depending on the location, property size, and complexity. Any charge should be disclosed before scheduling.
Can you identify mold from a photograph?
Photographs can help clarify the situation but normally cannot establish the full extent or cause. Moisture readings and an on-site evaluation may be necessary.
Do I always need mold testing?
No. Testing may be useful when the source is uncertain, contamination is not visible, documentation is needed, or independent post-remediation verification is appropriate.
Will bleach solve the problem?
Bleach is not a complete solution for every condition, especially when porous materials or unresolved moisture are involved.
Will fogging alone solve a mold problem?
No. Fogging should not replace moisture correction, removal of unsalvageable materials, containment, HEPA filtration, or detailed physical cleaning.
How long does remediation take?
Small projects may take one or two days. Larger projects involving demolition, drying, extensive containment, or repairs can take longer.
Will mold return?
It can return if the moisture conditions return. Effective remediation includes correcting or controlling the moisture source whenever possible.
Do you provide medical advice?
No. Georgia Mold Company does not diagnose medical conditions or determine whether a building condition caused a person’s symptoms.
